Excellence in Nursing Awards Gala

Nurses are the vital backbone of our healthcare system, providing essential care and comfort during life’s most challenging moments. On Saturday, November 14, 2026, The Arc of Nevada will host the third annual Excellence in Nursing Awards Gala at Binion’s Gambling Hall to celebrate these exceptional professionals for their unwavering commitment and compassion. This special evening recognizes nurses in over 20 categories, ranging from frontline patient care to leadership and innovation, plus 4 fun categories and our legacy award, The Distinguished Nurse of the Year.


We invite you to help us honor the healthcare heroes of Southern Nevada who have made a lasting impact on your life or the community by nominating your favorite nurse. Anyone can submit a nomination, including patients, family members, and colleagues. Nomination links can be found HERE.

Giving Tuesday

Every dollar you give on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, directly powers life-changing initiatives like our Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program. Pre-ETS equips students with intellectual and developmental disabilities with essential job skills, workplace readiness training, and career exploration tools. Your contribution directly funds the resources, advocacy, and hands-on guidance these young adults need to successfully transition into adulthood and secure meaningful employment.

Inspiring Donations is an easy way to donate to The Arc of Nevada. Just link your rewards card to The Arc of Nevada (NPO number EG221) by logging into your digital account. The Arc of Nevada will earn 0.5% of all eligible spending. Don’t have a rewards card? Sign up online or go to the customer service counter at your local Smith’s Grocery Store.
