Excellence in Nursing Awards Gala
Excellence in Nursing Awards Gala is an event that celebrates nurses from all over southern Nevada. Nominate your favorite nurse today! Nurses can be nominated by their peers, supervisors, patients, friends, or anyone that comes into contact with them. Nomination deadline is August 30th. Click for more information.
Giving Tuesday
Join The Arc of Nevada and our community of supporters on Giving Tuesday, December 3rd, for a day dedicated to making a difference! Your generosity helps us continue our mission of advocating for and empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Programs WITH THE ARC
Respite Care Activities – Allows a much-needed break for both caregivers and the people they’re caring for the opportunity to relax, recharge, and reconnect. Click HERE for this month’s activity. Activities qualify for respite reimbursement through Desert Regional Center.
Bridging the Digital Divide – The Arc of Nevada is proud to be chosen as a national partner with AT&T to support digital literacy among people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by hosting in-person/virtual training sessions on topics such as digital citizenship, cyber security, email basics, and more. Dates coming soon!
Wings for Autism – COMING SOON! This program gives families and aviation professionals the confidence to take to the skies with ease by providing an airport “rehearsal” as well as a presentation on the aircraft features and in-flight safety protocols. Check back soon for more information!

Inspiring Donations is an easy way to donate to The Arc of Nevada. Just ink your rewards card to The Arc of Nevada (NPO number EG221) by logging into your digital account. The Arc of Nevada will earn 0.5% of all eligible spending. Don’t have a rewards card? Sign up online or go to the customer service counter at your local Smith’s Grocery Store.
